Armando Acosta is a Civil Engineer at CLC Engineering, LLC. His educational experience includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Arkansas in December of 2019. While in school, he was an active member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers,. He also participated as a calculus tutor for the Class+ Program at the University of Arkansas.
Mr. Acosta’s previous experience includes two engineering projects. He helped with an Environmental Engineering Design where they designed a water treatment and wastewater treatment plant. In another project, he helped design the foundation for a metal building system and the design of the rigid cantilever retaining wall that satisfied all stability requirements.
As a Graduate Engineer, his duties include civil grading and drainage design for substation sites, structure calculations, steel design, and foundation design. He has experience using AutoCAD, MathCAD, STAAD Pro, and Risa-Foot.
